Liquid Lens
Liquid Lens is a video Marketing and Production company that has been in business for over 5 years, however it’s owner, Darren Cox, has been in the film and television industry for a long time - when he started they still used 35mm film which took weeks to get the negatives back from being processed!
He was one of the first to use a computer to edit (as opposed to the usual razor blade and tape!) and was a beta tester for Avid and Protools - for years the leaders in non-linear technology (that’s computer editing to the lay man!) He was sent all over the world to give presentations and demonstrations about this new and wonderful way of editing - how times have changed!
Darren started Liquid Lens in 2010 after seeing not only how expensive videos for businesses were but also the lack of quality.
Darren says, “We wanted to offer small and medium businesses a cost effective, affordable and high quality product as we knew the power of video would really benefit this sector, if only they could afford it”
Over the years Darren and his team have worked on hundreds of videos for businesses all over the country from one man bands to larger national firms but they all have one thing in common, they’ve started to see how video can be used to get them more leads and gets more sales.
Liquid Lens offers a whole range of options to suit any budgets with ½ day or full day packages for live action filming to short animation films.
They even run courses to help teach people how to shoot video themselves.
“About a year we decided to turn this knowledge of video production into
something we could teach, we started to run courses teaching others how to make better videos for themselves. We saw a need for small business owners that wanted to use the power of video for their own company but couldn't afford to have a professional video company come in and do it for them.”
